Our new sport and recreation clinics are exclusive opportunities for your children to learn a new hobby under the guidance of our specialised instructors. They are open to all children aged 8 and up!

Junior Clinic Philosophy

UWA Junior Clinics are an opportunity for children aged 8 and up to continue to develop their skills and sports knowledge, in a safe and inclusive environment. Each clinic focuses on ensuring kids learn the fundamental movement skills necessary to continue to participate in sport throughout their lifetime. Run by specialised instructors, our clinics provide individual support to children looking to try a new sport or learn a new skill.

Term 1 Program

Term 1 Clinics: Monday 18 February–Friday 5 April

All clinics run from 4.00-5.00pm

Drop off: 3.50pm

Pick up: 5.00pm

Once you have enrolled your child/ren, you will receive a confirmation email in regards to your registration, which will include all the details for online payment. Please note, enrolments will not be finalised until payment is received.

Term 1 Junior Clinics

Archery

Whether you’re new to Archery or experienced and looking to improve your shooting, this clinic covers all bases! Our expert instructor will teach all necessary skills to have even first time Archers hitting the bulls-eye in no time, while providing tips and tricks to take the more experienced shooters to the next level.

Fencing

Fencing is practiced worldwide, promoting fitness, speed, flexibility and coordination. Fencing combines tactical thinking with physical agility to outwit an opponent. Run by the knowledgeable instructors at the renowned UWA Fencing Club, you’re guaranteed to have a great time at this Clinic.

Tennis

Improve your skills in one of the most popular sports in the world! Our expert coaches will improve your technique in a range of different strokes and have you sending the ball flying back to the other side of the net in no time. You’ll even get the chance to challenge yourself and your friends in some fun gameplay!

Judo

Judo helps children develop basic physical fitness from a young age, such as strength, flexibility, agility, speed, balance, and endurance. Through the use of attack and defence, children are trained to have a faster reaction time, better coordination, and overall greater self-confidence. Judo is also a martial art that builds character in the understanding of the sport and its rigorous practice. Children are taught to respect one another and to be responsible for one another’s safety.
