Group Fitness Timetable

With more than 40 classes on offer per week, our group fitness sessions are ideal for a complete body workout or simply a fun way to stay fit with friends.

Many of our group fitness classes are taken from the LES MILLSTM program, which are developed as exercise to music with fun choreography and high-intensity workouts. All classes are led by trained UWA instructors and suit all ability levels.

Class descriptions

BODY ATTACK

BODY ATTACK is a high-energy fitness class with moves that cater for everyone from total beginners to total addicts. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats.

Duration: 45-55 minutes

Fitness level: Moderate to high

Exercise type: Cardio

 

BODYBALANCE

BODY BALANCE is an ideal class for anyone and everyone. A yoga based class that will improve your mind, your body and your life. During BODY BALANCE, you will bend ad stretch through a series of simple yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates.

Duration: 60 minutes

Fitness level: Low to moderate

Exercise type: Flexibility/Yoga

 

BODY PUMP

BODY PUMP is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean toned and fit - fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODY PUMP gives a total body workout.

Duration: 60 minutes

Fitness level: Low to moderate

Exercise type: Strength

 

CORE

CORE is about exercising muscles around the core. CORE provides the vital ingredient for a stronger body. During the 30-minute workout, trained instructors guide you through correct technique as you work with resistance tubes and weight plates, as well as body weight exercises like crunches and hovers.

Duration: 30 minutes

Fitness level: Moderate to high

JUMPSTART

The total body workout that will really JUMPSTART your morning! With a fun but motivating focus, this class is a must-try workout for those who want to increase their strength, mobility and cardiovascular fitness.

Duration: 50-60 minutes

RPM

RPM is a group indoor cycling workout where you control the intensity. It is fun, low impact, and can burn up to 675 calories a session. With great music pumping and the group spinning as one, your instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding.

Duration: 45-55 minutes

Fitness level: Moderate to high

ULTRAFIT

ULTRAFIT is designed to truly push each participant to better their current physical ability. This high intensity session uses majority bodyweight interval training that will not only rapidly improve your overall fitness, but will help increase your strength, speed and flexibility.

Duration: 60 minutes

Fitness level: Moderate to high

YOGA

YOGA is a body-mind discipline emphasising the enhancement of physical and mental wellbeing through posture work, breathing practices and meditation. Develop strength, flexibility, improved circulation and tone throughout the entire body.

ZUMBA

Are you ready to party yourself into shape? That's exactly what the Zumba program is all about! It's an exhilarating, effective, easy to follow, Latin-inspired, calorie burning dance fitness party that is moving millions of people towards joy and health.

Duration: 60 minutes

Fitness level: Low to moderate

Pop-Up Functional Training

Focus on getting results from your training in an energising group setting.

Our 6-week pop-up functional training program is fun, upbeat, and results driven.
All levels of fitness are welcomed, with classes including boxing, bodyweight, and female fitness.

Functional Class Descriptions

BOXING/COMBAT

Learn basic boxing skills, increase your strength and improve your endurance through this fun and challenging class. Perfect for all fitness levels, this class will include pad work combos, shadow boxing, and strength exercise. Get your sweat on to help you build a strong core, burn loads of calories, and feel the best you possibly can!

GLUTE & CORE

Build your booty! Lift, tone and shape your glutes in this strength training class designed for glute gains. Learn correct technique while strengthening your legs and glutes, burning fat and toning your abs with a variety of exercises that are perfect for all fitness levels.

HIIT

High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is guaranteed to challenge you physically and mentally from start to finish! Focus on performing your best and burning calories within a high-energy team environment. Suitable for all fitness levels, each class will have you sweating through a circuit-style workout including speed, agility, core, and bodyweight strength exercises.

BODY WEIGHT BLAST

This class is designed to help you live up to your full potential through bodyweight training. Suitable for all fitness levels, this class will return to the basics of strength training and help you build your strength, endurance, balance, flexibility and core stability using nothing but your own body.

STRENGTH

This is the ultimate strength workout, designed specifically to improve your power using safe and correct lifting techniques. Build your functional strength and unlock your true potential through a selection of exercises that target often-neglected muscle groups.
