The UWA Triathlon Club gives its members the opportunity to attend regular run, swim and cycle sessions each week. UWA Triathlon Club is a regular fixture at Triathlon WA race events and in addition to the formal training sessions, there are regular social/informal training sessions throughout the year. We have a range of athletes, ranging from elites to enthusiastic age groupers, and membership is open to anyone, not just current UWA Students. The club seeks to foster a welcoming, encouraging and inclusive environment for people to keep happy and active, and to pursue their triathlon goals.

Training and Coaching

The UWA Triathlon Club offers a variety of training sessions. Coaching is led by Dr Grant Landers, Western Australia’s only level 3 coach and former head coach of Triathlon WA’s Excellence Program. Run sessions

Coached Running Sessions: Wednesday & Monday afternoons.

Cycle sessions

Coached Cycling: Tuesday morning
Club Rides: 7.30am most Sunday mornings, starting from the UWA Recreation and Fitness Centre

Swim sessions

As part of the Uniswim Surf Tri Fit Squad at the UWA pool 5:30am Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Contact Uniswim for more information and to register.
