UWA Aikido Club
Aikido is a modern Japanese martial art. The term Aikido translates to ‘the way of harmonious spirit’. Aikido was first developed so martial arts practitioners could defend themselves while protecting their attacker from injury.
The UWA Aikido Club trains four times a week at the UWA International Martial Arts Centre at UWA’s Claremont campus.
Training is at IMAC: Monday 6.30-8.00pm and Saturday 10.30am-12.00pm
UWA Taekwondo Club
Taekwondo is a Korean Martial Art characterised by its use of various kicking techniques.
Classes are run twice a week at the UWA International Martial Arts Centre. Class times are:
Wednesday 5.00-7.30pm and Saturday 2.30-4.30pm

UWA Karate Club
The UWA Karate club provides learning opportunities across all experience levels. Whether you are a beginner or experienced in the discipline of karate, the club has plenty of opportunities for you to further develop your skillset.
Training is Mondays 7.30-9.00pm at the UWA International Martial Arts Centre and 7–9pm Thursday nights at the multi-purpose room, UWA Recreation and Fitness Centre.
