The UWA Fitness Centre offers a number of Personal Training Package options, including Buddy Training and Half Hour Sessions. WHY HAVE A PERSONAL TRAINER? If you have recognised that to achieve your specific exercise goals you require the assistance of an exercise and motivational specialist, then Personal Training is for you! ARE YOUR PERSONAL TRAINERS QUALIFIED? Our trainers at the UWA Health and Fitness Centre are either students & graduates from the School of Sports Science, Exercise & Health at the University of Western Australia or qualified trainers holding Certificate III & IV in Fitness. TYPES OF PERSONAL TRAINING Buddy Training is great to not only keep you motivated whilst you do the sessions, but it also gives you a kick-start for your training in the future. Being able to achieve your goals with a friend is very rewarding and well worth a try if you haven't already. Half Hour sessions are designed for those that feel comfortable warming up and cooling down by themselves, but want a trainer by their side during their work-out. These sessions also prove very good for a person with a bit of a hectic schedule that struggles to free up a full hour to exercise or for someone building their fitness level to be able to handle a full hour of exercise.
