With more than 50 classes on offer per week, our group fitness sessions are ideal for a complete body workout or simply a fun way to stay fit with friends.

Many of our group fitness classes are taken from the LES MILLSTM program, which are developed as exercise to music with fun choreography and high-intensity workouts. All classes are led by trained UWA instructors and suit all ability levels.

    Cardio, power and strength classes

    HITT 30TM

    This group-based training focuses on the principles of HIIT – high intensity interval training. Using a mix of cardio and resistance weight-based training, these workouts are perfect for maximising your metabolic rate, helping you reduce body fat and build muscle. These 30-minute sessions are fun, fast and effective.

    BODYATTACKTM

    BODYATTACKTM is the sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilisation exercises. You'll experience high-energy sports training moves for cardiovascular fitness, along with upper and lower body conditioning.

    Intensity: High (sports)

    Duration: 55 minutes

    JumpStart

    The total body workout that will really jumpstart your morning! With a fun but motivating focus, this class is a must-try for those who want to increase their strength, mobility and cardiovascular fitness. Let our instructors take you on a different exercise journey each session, using a variety of bodyweight exercises, weight machines and free weights. Participants can vary the intensity to match their fitness level so this class is suitable for all levels.

    FitBox

    This boxing-inspired workout will get your heart rate up and make your muscles burn. It is a social class which includes pad work, resistance and cardio exercises. This class is seriously results orientated and will increase your overall fitness level and condition the whole body. You will work with the instructor, the class and the clock. Come dressed ready to sweat and leave with a smile and a feeling of empowerment.

    BODYPUMPTM

    BODYPUMPTM, is the original LES MILLSTM barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all major muscle groups by using the best weight training exercises such as squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weights inspire you to get the results you came for.

    CXWORXTM

    Based on cutting-edge scientific research, this program is the ultimate way to get a tight and toned core. With dynamic training that hones in on your abs, glutes, back, obliques and 'slings' connecting the upper and lower body, this workout will leave you looking good and feeling strong.

    Intensity: Moderate (core)

    Duration: 30 minutes

    UltraFit

    UltraFit is designed to push each participant to better their current physical ability. This high-intensity session uses majority body weight interval training that will not only rapidly improve your overall fitness, but will help increase your strength, speed and flexibility. Every session is different to the last, but they are all team-based and fun.

    Yoga and flexibility classes

    BODYBALANCETM

    BODYBALANCETM is the yoga, tai chi and Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength, leaving you feeling centred and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.

    Intensity: Low (yoga and tai chi)

    YOGA

    Yoga is body-mind discipline emphasising the enhancement of physical and mental wellbeing through posture work, breathing exercises and meditation. Develop strength, flexibility and improved circulation and tone throughout the entire body. Benefits include increased joint mobility, range of motion, as well as decreased anxiety and stress. Be prepared for something different in each class, from a faster Vinyasa Yoga to a slower-based Yin Yoga and everything in between.

    Spin and cycle classes

    RPMTM

    RPMTM is the indoor cycling workout where you ride to the rhythm of powerful music. Take on the terrain with your inspiring team coach who leads the pack through hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials and interval training. Discover the athlete within and adjust your intensity to reach your endorphin high.

    Intensity: Moderate/High (cycle)
