The UWA Boat Shed, built in 1929, sits on the banks of
the Swan River on Matilda Bay.
It is located in car park 23, Hackett Dr, Crawley.

Please Note: Due to high demand, facility booking
preference is given to UWA departments and faculties
until further notice.
Function Facilities
Function hire is for
UWA Sport Association
Members only.
Function Room
The upstairs section of
the Boat Shed is a beautiful function room with polished
wooden floors, overlooking Matilda Bay. The function room
has a maximum capacity of 90 guests standing and 40
seated and is available: Mon-Thurs 8:30am-4:30pm, Friday
8:30am-1am, Sat 1pm-1am, Sunday 9am-2pm.
The Boat Shed is a
licensed facility; we provide bar staff and beverage
service if you wish to serve alcohol.
*Please inform guests to
dress appropriately as the Boatshed is located on the
water & is not heated/airconditioned.
Interested in booking a function?
Please Note: We currently do not
confirm any bookings for 2012, however, you can fill in
a Booking
Request Form. We will attend to your request after
the Christmas Holiday/New Year's break in mid January
2012.
Courses
The UWA Boat Shed
houses courses such as
Salsa, Yoga and Argentine Tango.
