UWA Aquatic & Rehabilitation Centre

Location

The UWA Aquatic & Rehabilitation Centre is located at the UWA School of Sport Science, Exercise & Health at the bottom part of UWA's Crawley Campus.

Home to:

  • UWA Torpedoes & UWA Comets Water Polo Teams, who compete in the National Water Polo League
  • UWA Swimming Club

Facilities

The UWA Aquatic & Rehabilitation Centre features 3 swimming pools, including the most recent addition, a purpose built Water Polo pool. The pool is 25m x 33m, meaning that not only is it suitable for teaching, lap training and rehabilitation sessions, but also meets the requirements for hosting top level water polo matches. This new facility not only complements exisiting activities and programs, such as Uniswim but also brings a whole new dimension to the sporting activities provided at UWA.

UWA Health & Rehabilitation Program

The program provides evidence based programs directed and supervised by accredited clinical exercise physiologists and physiotherapists.
