The UWA Handball Club is based at the UWA Recreation and Fitness Centre, and host the Handball West State League each fortnight. Club members have the opportunity to represent UWA at inter-varsity competitions such as the Western and Australian University Games Championships.

Regular training nights take place on Wednesdays from 6 to 7.30pm, beginning March each year. Matches in the Handball West State League take place fortnightly on Sundays. Women’s matches take place from 2 to 3.30pm, while Mens matches take place from 3.30 to 5pm. Training and competition in the Handball West State League is open to everyone, however participation in inter-varsity competition is only available to current UWA students.

Each individual looking to compete within the Handball West State League must register as a competitor with Handball WA. All paying members can attend training sessions at any venue; as well as compete in Sunday League matches. Handball WA offers three membership types to suit the needs of individuals. Full season passes start at $225, while half season passes are priced at $175. An entry point membership option is also available to those who are looking to get their feet wet in the sport. Beginners can choose to ‘pay as you go’. This casual-style membership allows members to pay a one-off fee of $10 for each session they attend.
