UWA Sports - UWA Boat Shed

The UWA Boat Shed, built in 1929, sits on the banks of the Swan River on Matilda Bay.

Function Facilities

Function hire is for UWA Sports Association Members only.

The function room has a maximum capacity of 70 guests standing and 50 seated and is available: Mon-Wed 8:30am-4:30pm, Friday 8:30am-1am, Sat 1pm-1am, Sunday 9am-20pm.

The Boat Shed is not available for weddings or 18th & 21st birthday parties.

The Boat Shed is a licensed facility; we provide bar staff and beverage service if you wish to serve alcohol. You are free to choose a professioanl caterer, either one of our preferred suppliers, or an approved caterer.

Pricing

Business hours hire is $60 per hour Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm
After hours function hire is $600 (Sports members only)
Bond is $500.
Data projector hire is $75
Bar staff $30 per hour
*Tables & Chairs are included in the hire rate

Location

The Boat Shed is on located in carpark 23, Hackett Dr, Crawley. On the corner of Stirling Highway/ Mounts Bay Rd. View map.

Next door to the UWA Watersports Complex

The upstairs section of the Boat Shed is a beautiful function room with polished wooden floors, overlooking Matilda Bay.

*Please inform guests to dress appropriately as the Boatshed is located on the water & is not heated/airconditioned.
